The Green Woodpecker Trill dried slippery jacks are currently sold in the producer’s, the company Jantex, replacement package.
Slippery jacks are most often found in the Polish cuisine as pickles, marinated in vinegar. They are mainly used as addition to other dishes, e.g. slippery jacks stewed in cream. They are also suitable for marinades and sauces.
Our mushrooms have been carefully selected. You need as much as 600g of fresh mushrooms for one packet of dried mushrooms (40g)! One packet of dried mushrooms allows you to prepare one pot of mushroom soup, Polish hunter’s stew (bigos), or sauerkraut with mushrooms, all of which serve 4.
Slippery jacks are mostly valued for their taste, improving even the simplest meals.
The producer- Jantex Sp. z o.o. is a mushroom supplier in business for over 20 years. Most of the mushrooms come from Polish purchasing centres in the area of Nadnotecka primal forest district, referred to as "the lungs of Europe”.
